A simple and delicious Christmas cake that you can easily make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mixed dried fruits
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Fold in dried fruits and nuts.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the cake cool before serving.
