Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups green frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • Assorted sprinkles, edible pearls, or mini candies
  • Candy stars or yellow chocolate melts (for toppers)
  • Mini pretzel sticks (for trunks)
  • Optional: powdered sugar for snow effect

Instructions

  1. Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, then stir in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  3. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  4. Remove brownies and cut into long strips, then slice diagonally into triangles. Wipe knife between cuts for clean edges.
  5. Pipe green frosting in zig-zag patterns to mimic branches, add sprinkles and a candy star on top, and insert a pretzel stick for the trunk.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar for a snowy finish and enjoy your festive treats!
