This Creamy Baked Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce is an elegant yet easy dish perfect for impressing your guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets Salmon (Choose wild-caught for richer flavor.)
  • 4 oz Cream cheese (Soften before mixing to avoid clumps.)
  • 2 tbsp Butter (Swap for olive oil for a dairy-free option.)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice (Fresh is always best!)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced; adjust to taste for milder flavor.)
  • 1 tsp Salt (Essential for enhancing flavors.)
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper (Essential for enhancing flavors.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Gently pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down in the baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, lemon juice, lemon zest, butter, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  4. Spread the creamy lemon butter sauce over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake the salmon for 15-18 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Optionally, broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispy top. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from oven, let rest for a couple of minutes, and serve hot, drizzling any remaining sauce over the top.
