Creamy Dill Salmon is a quick and nutritious dinner option that combines tender salmon with a rich, herb-infused cream sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces Fresh Salmon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Dill

Instructions

  1. Start by seasoning your fresh salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Lightly dredge each fillet in all-purpose flour for an even coating.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Place the seasoned salmon fillets into the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. Pour in chicken broth or dry white wine, along with lemon juice and Dijon mustard if using. Simmer for about 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
  4. Lower the heat to medium and stir in heavy cream and fresh dill. Let the sauce simmer gently for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Return the seared salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy dill sauce over them. Warm the salmon in the sauce for another 2 minutes.

Notes

  • Use wild-caught salmon for the best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust salt and pepper to your taste.
  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free flour.
  • Substitute olive oil with a neutral oil if preferred.
  • Use a dairy-free alternative for butter if needed.
