Ingredients
Scale
4 pieces Fresh Salmon
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Butter
1/2 cup Chicken Broth
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
1 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Fresh Dill
Instructions
Start by seasoning your fresh salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Lightly dredge each fillet in all-purpose flour for an even coating.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. Place the seasoned salmon fillets into the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Pour in chicken broth or dry white wine, along with lemon juice and Dijon mustard if using. Simmer for about 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
Lower the heat to medium and stir in heavy cream and fresh dill. Let the sauce simmer gently for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
Return the seared salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy dill sauce over them. Warm the salmon in the sauce for another 2 minutes.
Notes
Use wild-caught salmon for the best flavor and texture.
Adjust salt and pepper to your taste.
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free flour.
Substitute olive oil with a neutral oil if preferred.
Use a dairy-free alternative for butter if needed.
