  • 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Thinly slice potatoes using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  3. Combine butter, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and Parmesan.
  4. Add potato slices and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Layer potato slices into muffin cups, pressing gently.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Cool 5 minutes, then remove stacks carefully.
  8. Garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan if desired.
