- 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 loaf soft white sandwich bread (crusts removed)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped (or ½ teaspoon dried dill)

- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: Pinch of garlic powder or onion powder
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, dill, salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder until smooth.
- Slice cucumber very thin using a mandoline or sharp knife. Pat slices dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of each bread slice. Arrange cucumber slices evenly over half of the bread.
- Top with remaining bread slices. Trim off crusts using a serrated knife.
- Cut each sandwich into quarters (triangles or squares). Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
