Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Long-Grain White Rice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 23 cloves Fresh Garlic

Instructions

  1. Mince 2-3 fresh garlic cloves and rinse 1 cup of long-grain white rice until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice with 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15-18 minutes until water is absorbed.
  3. While rice cooks, heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Once rice is cooked, fluff with a fork and combine with garlic butter mixture, folding to coat the rice evenly.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Rinse rice thoroughly to prevent stickiness.
  • Keep garlic sautéing on low heat to avoid burning.
  • Fluff rice before mixing to ensure even flavor distribution.
