- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Optional: 1/4 cup dry white wine
- Optional: 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add steak cubes to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak cubes in batches for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and melt completely.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- (Optional) Add white wine and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Return steak cubes to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Stir in parsley.
- (Optional) Squeeze lemon juice over steak bites.
- Serve immediately with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
