Ground Beef Fried Rice is a fast, budget-friendly one-pan dinner loaded with savory beef, fluffy rice, tender vegetables, and bold seasonings.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups cooked and chilled white rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Bell peppers
  • Corn kernels
  • Fresh ginger
  • Red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Remove excess grease if needed. Add diced onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic and frozen peas and carrots.
  3. Push mixture to one side of the skillet. Crack eggs into the empty space and scramble until fully cooked. Mix into beef and vegetables.
  4. Stir in chilled rice, breaking up clumps. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil. Add black pepper and stir well. Cook for several minutes until heated through and slightly crisp.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve warm.
