  • 9 slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (for chicken seasoning)
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (for buffalo sauce)
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season 1.5 cups chicken with ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp garlic powder, and ¼ tsp paprika. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Shred the chicken.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt 2 Tbsp butter. Remove from heat, then whisk in ½ cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce and the remaining ½ tsp garlic powder until smooth.
  3. Pour the buffalo sauce over the warm shredded chicken and toss until every piece is evenly coated.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the 9 slider buns horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer with 1 cup shredded cheese, then spoon the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the cheese. Place the top halves of the buns back on top. Sprinkle with ¼ tsp Italian seasoning.
  5. Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and serve immediately. Offer 2 Tbsp ranch dressing on the side for dipping or drizzling.
