Irresistible Pistachio Lush – The Ultimate Easy Pistachio Lush Dessert Recipe

  • Crust Layer:
  • 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups (240 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) chopped pecans (optional)
  • Cream Cheese Layer:
  • 8 ounces (226 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 ounces / 225 g) whipped topping, divided
  • Pistachio Pudding Layer:
  • 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 3 cups (720 ml) cold milk
  • Top Layer & Garnish:
  • Remaining whipped topping
  • Chopped pistachios or pecans for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine melted butter, flour, and chopped pecans until crumbly. Press evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden. Allow crust to cool completely.
  3. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over cooled crust.
  4. Whisk pistachio pudding mix with cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Spread gently over cream cheese layer.
  5. Spread remaining whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios or pecans before slicing into squares.

  • This dessert can be made a day in advance for best results.
