- 2 teaspoons (8 g) baking powder

- 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups (225 g) fresh strawberries, diced
- For the Streusel Topping:
- 1/2 cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (55 g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk. Mix gently until just combined.
- Gently fold diced strawberries into the batter. Toss them lightly in flour first to prevent sinking.
- Mix flour and sugar, then cut in cold butter until crumbly.
