Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well combined and set aside.
Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds for a milder flavor. If you prefer more heat, you can leave some seeds in.
On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half, filling them generously.
Take a strip of puff pastry and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeno, starting from one end and spiraling to the other. Pinch the edges to seal the filling inside.
Place the wrapped jalapeno poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one for even baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
Once baked, let the Jalapeno Popper Twists cool for a few minutes before serving. They are best enjoyed warm!
