Irresistible Loaded Chicken Nachos: A Flavor-Packed Family Favorite

  • 1 lb cooked chicken breast or thighs, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 (13-oz) bag tortilla chips
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (15-oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 12 jalapeños, sliced
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes or pico de gallo
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Poblano salsa verde
  • Avocado slices or guacamole
  • Diced green onions
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss shredded chicken with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread half the chips on the baking sheet. Top with half the chicken, beans, corn, onion, jalapeños, and cheese. Repeat layers.
  4. Bake 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Top with tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, salsa verde, avocado, and lime. Serve immediately.
