This Oreo Banana Bread combines ripe bananas and crunchy Oreos for a deliciously moist dessert.

  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • a pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Chopped Oreos
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×4 loaf pan by greasing it lightly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash 3-4 ripe bananas until mostly smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture.
  3. Add 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and a pinch of salt to the bananas and stir.
  4. Incorporate 2 large eggs (or flax eggs) and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir until blended.
  5. Gradually add 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar, stirring until dissolved.
  6. Fold in 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour and 1 cup chopped Oreos until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick.
  9. Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, and a splash of vanilla extract for the glaze.
  11. Once the glaze has set slightly, slice and enjoy your Oreo Banana Bread.
