- 1 pack (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package (6 oz) sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes, fresh basil, black olives
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Using a serrated knife, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating the individual rolls. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Spread pizza sauce over the bottom layer of rolls. Add half the mozzarella cheese, layer the pepperoni slices, then add the remaining mozzarella.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese and pepperoni.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush over the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10–12 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let rest a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
