  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour (Gluten-free flour can be used)
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Salt (Can be substituted with fresh minced garlic)
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano (Can be substituted with Italian seasoning or fresh basil)
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (Alternatives include provolone or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (Nutritional yeast can be used for a dairy-free option)
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce (Alternatives include ranch or barbecue sauce)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Combine active dry yeast with warm water and let it sit for about 5–10 minutes until foamy. Mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and kosher salt into remaining water. Add egg yolk and foamy yeast mixture, stirring well.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients: Incorporate flour gradually into the wet mixture, mixing until the dough just comes together. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Allow the Dough to Rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, covering it. Let it rise for around 30 minutes until doubled in size.
  4. Assemble the Breadsticks: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish with melted butter. Spread dough into the dish and let it rise for an additional 15 minutes.
