This Pumpkin Whipped Feta Dip is a creamy, savory-sweet appetizer perfect for fall gatherings. It combines the tang of feta with the mellow flavor of pumpkin and Greek yogurt, spiced with cinnamon for a cozy taste of autumn.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g feta cheese (about 7 oz)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Toasted pumpkin seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add feta cheese, Greek yogurt, pumpkin purée, olive oil, maple syrup (if using), cinnamon, salt, and pepper into the bowl of your food processor or blender.
  2. Pulse or blend on high until the mixture is creamy, fluffy, and fully blended. This may take 1–2 minutes, depending on your machine.
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. You can add a bit more maple syrup for sweetness or more cinnamon for spice.
  4. Scoop the dip into a serving bowl and top with a drizzle of olive oil, a sprinkle of toasted pumpkin seeds, or a dusting of cinnamon for a festive finish.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Use block feta instead of pre-crumbled for the creamiest result.
  • Canned pumpkin puree works perfectly—just avoid pie filling.
  • Adjust texture with a little olive oil or lemon juice if too thick.
  • Customize toppings: add caramelized onions, herbs, or roasted tomatoes.
  • For dairy-free, substitute vegan feta and plant-based yogurt.
