Spicy Kimchi Bulgogi Cheesesteak is a flavor-packed fusion sandwich that combines sweet-savory Korean bulgogi beef with tangy sautéed kimchi and melty cheese on toasted hoagie rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef ribeye or sirloin
  • 1/3 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 4 hoagie rolls or baguette sections
  • 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and brown sugar. Add beef and marinate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef until browned and caramelized. Add onion and bell pepper if using.
  3. In a separate pan, lightly sauté kimchi until warm and fragrant.
  4. Fill hoagie rolls with bulgogi, top with kimchi and cheese.
  5. Broil 1–2 minutes until cheese melts. Serve hot.
