Perfect Thanksgiving Dinner Menu for a Joyful Feast

  • 1 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 cups bread cubes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 5 lbs potatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 1 pumpkin (for pie)
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Season turkey with salt, pepper, and butter.
  3. Roast turkey for 3-4 hours until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. For stuffing, sauté onion and celery in butter.
  5. Mix bread cubes, broth, eggs, and sage.
  6. Bake stuffing for 45 minutes.
  7. Boil potatoes until tender.
  8. Mash with milk and butter.
  9. Mix green beans with soup and bake.
  10. Top with fried onions.
  11. For pumpkin pie, blend pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, and cinnamon.
  12. Pour into pie crust and bake for 45 minutes.
