Savory Turkey Cranberry Sliders for a Cozy Holiday Feast

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian Rolls (Consider gluten-free or brioche options.)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened; Neufchâtel cheese can be used for a lighter option.)
  • 1 cup Whole Cranberry Sauce (Homemade or fruit preserves work great.)
  • 2 cups Turkey (Use leftover or deli-sliced turkey, cut into pieces.)
  • 8 oz Havarti Cheese (Substitute with cheddar or gouda if preferred.)
  • 1/2 cup Salted Butter (Unsalted butter with kosher salt can be substituted.)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced; use garlic powder if fresh is unavailable.)
  • 1 tbsp Dried Minced Onion (Chopped fresh onion can be used for a stronger flavor.)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (Omit for gluten-free version.)
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt (Adjust to taste.)
  • 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds (Optional garnish.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls lengthwise, keeping them connected.
  3. Spread cream cheese evenly over the bottom half of the sliced rolls.
  4. Add cranberry sauce on top of the cream cheese and layer with turkey.
  5. Layer slices of Havarti cheese over the turkey.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, dried onion, Worcestershire sauce, and kosher salt.
  7. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the assembled sliders and sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20-30 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. For a crispier top, remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  10. Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust salt to your preference.
  • Use leftover turkey for a quicker option.
  • Experiment with different types of cheese.
