- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 sheets of nori
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 8 oz crab meat
- Soy sauce for serving
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a rice cooker. Cook according to instructions.
- In a saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
- Once rice is cooked, mix in vinegar mixture. Let cool.
- Lay a sheet of nori on a bamboo mat.
- Spread a layer of rice on the nori, leaving a small border.
- Add cucumber, avocado, and crab meat in the center.
- Roll tightly using the bamboo mat.
- Slice rolls into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve with soy sauce.
