White Chocolate Raspberry Scones are buttery, tender bakery-style scones loaded with juicy raspberries and creamy white chocolate chips, finished with a light vanilla glaze. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or gifting.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen, unthawed)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk or cream
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut cold butter into the flour mixture until coarse crumbs form.
  4. Whisk buttermilk, egg, and vanilla, then gently mix into dry ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in white chocolate chips and raspberries.
  6. Form dough into a 7–8 inch round and cut into 8 wedges.
  7. Bake 18–22 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Cool completely, then drizzle with vanilla glaze.
