A creepy and delicious Halloween treat, this Zombie Brain Jello Dessert uses grape jello, white chocolate pudding, and boba pearls to create a realistic brain shape with a gooey center. It’s a fun, no-bake dessert perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3 oz) white chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 box (3 oz) grape jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or similar)
  • 1/2 cup strawberry or raspberry bursting boba
  • A few drops red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Dissolve grape jello in 1 cup boiling water, then stir in 1 cup cold water. Let cool 10 minutes.
  2. Whisk in pudding mix until slightly thick.
  3. Stir in yogurt, then fold in whipped topping.
  4. Pour mixture into brain molds about 3/4 full. Chill 10–15 minutes to firm slightly.
  5. Spoon a bit of bursting boba and a drop of red food coloring into each mold for a “bloody” center.
  6. Top with remaining jello mixture and smooth.
  7. Refrigerate 4–6 hours or overnight until firm.
  8. Unmold carefully and serve cold.

Notes

  • Spray molds lightly with cooking spray for easier release.
  • Chill mixture slightly before adding boba so they don’t sink.
  • Use tonic water instead of cold water for a blacklight “glow.”
  • Keep cold until serving to maintain shape.
  • For kids, replace boba with jam or candy for a safer filling.
