Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups kale, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, cook until softened.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and water, bring to a boil.
  4. Add potatoes, simmer until tender (about 15 minutes).
  5. Stir in kale and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat, add heavy cream, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Simmer for 5 more minutes before serving.
