Ingredients
Scale
2 fillets Salmon
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
½ cup Mayonnaise
¼ cup Sweet Chili Sauce
1–2 tablespoons Sriracha
1 tablespoon Honey or Maple Syrup
1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar or Lime Juice
2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions
1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
Lime wedges, for serving
Cooked rice or steamed vegetables, for serving
Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or prepare air fryer basket. Pat salmon fillets very dry. Season salmon with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, rubbing evenly.
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha (start with 1 tbsp, add more for heat), honey or maple syrup, and rice vinegar or lime juice. Whisk until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness, heat, or tang as preferred.
Place seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove salmon, generously spoon and spread Bang Bang Sauce over each fillet. Return to oven and bake for another 5-8 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Sauce should be bubbly and slightly caramelized. Optionally, broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden crust.
Lightly spray air fryer basket. Place seasoned salmon in a single layer (cook in batches if needed). Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 7-9 minutes. Remove, generously spoon and spread Bang Bang Sauce over each fillet. Return to air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily and sauce is bubbly and slightly caramelized.
Allow cooked salmon to rest for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and optional fresh cilantro. Serve immediately with lime wedges, cooked rice, or your favorite steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
