- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and fold in raisins and walnuts.
- Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
