Crockpot Chicken Alfredo is a creamy, comforting dish made easy with a slow cooker. This recipe is perfect for busy weeknights, offering rich, cheesy pasta with tender chicken, all in one pot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar (15 oz) of alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or your favorite pasta)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Pour in the chicken broth and alfredo sauce.
  2. Cut the cream cheese into chunks and add it to the slow cooker. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top and stir gently.
  3. Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shreddable.
  4. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the Crockpot and stir into the sauce.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Let it cook for an additional 10 minutes on low heat.
  6. While the chicken is cooking, prepare your pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the slow cooker and toss it in the creamy chicken alfredo sauce.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and enjoy with a side of garlic bread or a salad!
