- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, drained
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black salt (kala namak)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup spinach, chopped
- Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water.
- In a bowl, crumble tofu and mix with nutritional yeast, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, and black salt.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté bell peppers and onions for 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Add spinach and cook for another minute.
- Spread the tofu mixture evenly in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until firm.
- Flip carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
