  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 cup Flour (For thickening; gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth (Low-sodium recommended)

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (For depth of flavor)

  • 2 cups White Rice (Prepare according to package instructions)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (Chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by patting the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 4-5 minutes.

  4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté onions for 3-4 minutes until translucent before adding minced garlic.
  5. Sprinkle flour into the mixture and whisk until a smooth roux forms.
  6. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened, then stir in heavy cream.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 175°F.
  8. Prepare rice according to package instructions, fluff with a fork, and set aside.
  9. To serve, plate rice, top with chicken and ladle gravy over the dish, garnishing with parsley.
